Casually inspired accommodations along with modern day guest amenities welcome both business and leisure travelers. This was an average stay, and we will likely stay here again as we travel across New York State with our small dog but it’s certainly not something especially look forward to.The new Hampton Inn by Hilton Verona at Turning Stone is conveniently located on Route 365 off the NYS Thruway at exit 33 and adjacent to the Turning Stone Casino Resort. I do appreciate that they were a pet friendly hotel with no charge for our pet. This is a pet friendly hotel, and we could tell in our room because we were traveling with a small dog, and she was sniffing everywhere in the room, indicating that the room had not been deep cleaned from previous dogs. Breakfast was uninspired with just the basics, no proteins. I have no idea how they could pass muster day in and day out without being either cleaned or replaced! It did make me wonder about the general cleanliness of my room and hotel given their state. The couch and the chair were so dirty I wouldn’t sit on them. The furniture in the room left a lot to be desired, however. Our room was large, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom seemed to have new fixtures and seemed clean. This is a very large hotel that seems to be sparsely populated. And our impression was the same as last time. This is our second stay at the La Quinta in Verona, New York.
